Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small values a website can store in your browser and send with later requests. Local storage is a different browser feature that remembers information for a particular website without automatically sending it with each request.
The studio uses a necessary sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, plus local preferences for the announcement and chat panel width. It does not add analytics or advertising cookies.
Your sign-in session
The HttpOnly plex3d.session_token cookie identifies your session. On HTTPS its name has a __Secure- prefix. It expires after seven days and can renew while you use the studio. Logging out removes it and revokes that session on the server.
The plex3d-chat-width local-storage preference remembers your chosen panel width until cleared. These values are used to operate the studio.
The preference we store
- Name
- plex3d-announcement-dismissed
- Type and provider
- First-party local storage, set by Plex3D on this website’s origin.
- Purpose
- Remembers your request to hide the announcement. A value of “1” means you dismissed it.
- When it is saved
- Only when you click the announcement’s dismiss button.
- Duration
- No automatic expiry. It remains until you reset it, clear site data, or your browser removes it.
- Information and sharing
- The value contains no name, email address or unique visitor identifier. The site does not send this preference to a server or use it for advertising.
This preference is used only to carry out your requested display choice. If storage is unavailable, you can still browse the site; the announcement may reappear.
Manage your preference
You can remove the saved announcement choice below. This affects this website in your current browser only and leaves other site data alone.
This resets only the saved preference that hides the announcement banner.
You can also clear site data or block storage through your browser’s privacy settings. Settings and saved choices do not automatically carry across browsers or devices.
External services
Some images and icons are delivered using external content services, including Amazon CloudFront and Simple Icons. Loading an external resource involves a network request; that is separate from the local announcement preference.
The preview does not embed advertising or analytics scripts. If you follow an external link, the destination website may use its own cookies and controls. See our Privacy Policy for more on external content.
Future changes and questions
If we introduce new storage or tracking technologies, we will update this page and provide any choices or consent controls required before using them. The current reset button is not consent to future analytics or advertising.
